Mircoblading (also known as 3D eyebrows, feathering brows, hair stroke brows) is a semi-permanent makeup. The technique consists of implanting pigment in the surface layers of the epidermis. Using a hand held micro-blade, you can achieve natural looking hair like strokes to fill in the spaces where no hair exists on your brow line. It lasts from 1 to 3 years depending on your skin type, sun exposure and after care. An annual touch up is recommended to keep them fresh and dark.

Am I a Good Candidate?
* You must be over the age of 18. * Have you ever had permanent makeup before? If yes, please text a photo of the brow area with no makeup on before scheduling your appointment to see what your options are. * You need to get clearance from your doctor if you have the following medical conditions: - Lupus, alopecia, etc - Dermatitis, eczema or any other skin disease around the area that will be treated. - If you have received chemotherapy treatments or have been taking chemo medications. * The following individuals are NOT good candidates for microblading: - A person who suffer from any mental disorder or are taking any psychiatric medication. - A person who is allergic to lilidocaine, epinephrine, glycerin, titanium dioxide, cetaphil and/or carmine - A person taking any antibiotics (must be off at least 2 weeks before appointment) - A person taking any Accutane medications (must be off at least 1 month) - A person taking fish oil (recommend to be off at least 2 weeks to retain pigment to the fullest capability) - A person taking diet pills of any kind (must be off at least 2 weeks) - Pregnant women or if you are breast-feeding.
Before your Session
* We recommend getting waxed or threaded for any stray hairs prior to your appointment date, as to not further irritate the skin by doing hair removal right before your microblading application. * Please bring in photos of what your eyebrow goals are. * Do NOT take any medications (ibuprofen, aspirin) 24 hours before procedure. * We recommend getting botox 1-2 weeks prior to microblading so the muscles have settled. * No alcohol within 48 hours of your session to avoid excessive bleeding. * No caffeine on the day of the session. * No strenuous workouts for a week after the procedure. Sweat can cause infection. * Avoid sun exposure 2 weeks before and 2-3 weeks after the procedure.
During your Session
During your session your artist first will apply numbing gel and will discuss with you what shape and color you would like for your eyebrows. She will then measure your face to ensure symmetry and design the perfect brow shape with you. We only use the best pigments on the market and our tools are disposable for your safety. Session takes around 2 hours and a half.
* Microblading is a two step process. Your initial visit and a 5 week touch up if needed. A touch up is recommended for new clients to complete a defined eyebrow shape and color. A minimum of 5 weeks is required between appointments to avoid the development of scar tissue and infection. In some cases you will need a third touch up if your skin type doesn't retain the pigment well. We have different pigment options for different skin types. Any adjustments in color, shape and strokes can be made at the touch up. * Pigment will look dark and intense the first week or so because the pigment is fresh. Color lightens by 20-40% when the new skin heals over. Any redness or swelling will go away within 2-3 hours. * The tattoo can get dry and flakey and sometimes appear missing or patchy as skin heals over pigment. It typically resurfaces into week 3-4 of healing. After 5 weeks if it hasn't resurfaced or hair strokes flaked off while healing it is recommended to schedule a touch up between 5 weeks-3 months of initial application date. Some clients experience no scabbing or patchiness, we just like to inform our clients of all possible outcomes as to not be alarmed. Everyone's skin heals differently so it is important to follow aftercare instructions and be patient with the process. Absolutely no picking or scratching. * You will start to notice a softer and more natural looking results week 4-5 of healing. You are completely healed and can schedule a retouch if needed from 5 weeks on from your first session.
